What it does

Headroom compresses tool outputs, logs, files, RAG chunks and conversation history on the local machine before they reach the LLM. It runs as a library, a proxy or an MCP server, and caches originals for later retrieval.

Worth comparing for how Harness could keep tool outputs and logs short in an executor's context. Its local cache of original text could be a reference for keeping evidence intact while the context stays small.

License
