This page introduces an external open-source repository. It is not an HDATF product.

firecrawl/firecrawl

What it does

A web data API that searches the web, scrapes pages into Markdown, HTML, screenshots or structured JSON, and can interact with pages before extracting content. It is open source and also offered as a hosted service.

How it helps ATF

Since it returns web pages as clean Markdown or structured data, it is worth comparing with how LabChin collects searched sources for a research question.

Only repositories in the ranked Trendshift lists are included, and the lists are used only to find candidates. We do not copy their ranks. Descriptions, licenses and star counts come from each GitHub repository. The notes are our own reading. We have not tested these projects, and a place on a trending list does not prove quality.
